Student Resources


Case Management Services (CMS) is available to assist students struggling with mental or physical health, facing an unexpected challenge or crisis, or experiencing a personal loss. They can support students by exploring options, identifying on-campus resources, and helping students to create a plan for their next steps.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is here to support your mental health needs as you pursue your academic goals. Their services are designed to foster the development of healthy well-being necessary for success in a complex global environment. They offer a variety of services to meet your needs, including:

  • Crisis counseling available by phone 24 hours a day/7 days a week
  • Emergency intervention
  • Individual counseling and psychotherapy
  • Group therapy
  • Psychiatric evaluation and treatment
  • Psychoeducational programs and workshops for students, staff, and faculty
  • Campus mental health and wellness promotion

Improving Dreams, Equity, Access, and Success (IDEAS) is a student organization and support network for undocumented and AB 540 undocumented students, as well as their supporters at UCLA and diverse communities.
